Patricia Ibañez was born in Jerez de la Frontera.
She became a flamenco dancer at an extremely early age, with a debut at the age of merely five at the big Teatro Villamarta, together with her first teacher Cristóbal “El Jerezano”.
Afterwards, she became the protégé of dancer Ana Maria López and participated in her group“Semilla Flamenca”. As a teenager, she already went along on tours to Japan and Germany.
To finish her skills, she also took courses with grand names such as Carmen Cortés, Eva La Yerbabuena, Manolo Marin, Rafaela Carrasco, Farruquito, Juana Amaya, Belén Maya and Antonio “El Pipa”.
For quite some time she was a member of El Pipa’s company. Later she also joined guitar player Manuel Morao and dancer Sara Baras. Furthermore, she toured with guitar player / composer Paco Cepero.
Patricia Ibañez is a stylish and powerful flamenco dancer. Her dances are full of elegance and emotions.
Meanwhile she has had an own dancing academy for quite some time, as well as her own company. But she’s also quite fond of collaborating as an “artista invitada” with guitar player Pascual de Lorca .
Last but not least, she is also a member of the prestigious flamenco programme “Homenaje a Cadiz”.
